Does VISIO 2013 have an ‘export to PDF’ feature rather than using the ‘save as’ feature? VISIO 2007 used to have it. Not sure about 2013. But, the ‘export’ feature should retain the hyperlinks where the ‘save as’ feature will create a more or less flat file because of the way MS coding was licensed to operate by the Adobe people.You might also try starting Adobe first, then creating a PDF from another file and importing the VISIO file. See if Adobe can import those hyperlinks better that way. You know… proprietary coding and all that bunk? ;pI will try the conversion by pulling from Adobe on Monday when I get back to work, that sounds like a solid plan. The best solution I could find is to create a separate PDF document for all of the desired hyperlinks using Adobe Acrobat Pro, and to convert the rest of the drawings pages from Visio to PDF separately. Then, using Adobe Acrobat, merge both documents which will make the separate hyperlinks document now the top page, followed by the drawings.This solution allows me to have the end product of a hyperlinks page that references detailed information files on our file server, as well as not worrying about breaking them on conversion from drawings changes.Thank you all for your input.
