RTS modeAs the CEO put in charge of taking over the planet, it is your job to build large base complexes containing all the facilities you need, construct factories to produce robotic troops, research high technology to give you an edge over the competition and of course direct your army to annihilate the opposing company. Each facility is designed to snap easily together to create a seamless complex, which can then be upgraded with defence turrets, doors, forcefields and many other exciting technologies to help defend you from attack. As well as building your base, you will also need to control your armies to attack, defend and conquer new ground using high tech weaponry and cunning strategies to defeat your opponent. From nimble robots who are the backbone to your army, to heavy tanks and walkers to crush all who oppose you. Along side your troops you will have access to long range artillery and missiles to take out unsuspecting units from afar. Scattered across the map are various resources to help you improve and build your operation, from Thorium crystals to help boost power, to random meteorite impacts to give you rare resources for constructing the most powerful of units. Game [/h1]In Executive Assault, you play a rich corporate snob, whom wants to get rid of the competing capitalistic swine on the other side of the map.Now usually in a our world's economy, one would try to do this by running his golf buddy out of business. In this game however, the businessmen strategy that will be in practice is filling your competitor with a variety of destructive matter.Which may include: Lasers, Quantum Particles, Rockets, Shells, Bullets.The game is won when the enemy executive takes damage. The only way to reach the enemy executive is to power your self through the buildings go up the elevator of the HQ and do what I said above.Usually in games you ( or subjectively I ) will not give a shit about the people involved and probably skip the credits. Like most RTS games you will probably start with setting up a main power grid which you do by building a power plant.Once you have that ticked off of your check list, you will want to start your economy. There are three types of resources in the game.[i]Iron[/i], which you get by building iron extractors on iron fields. You will need this to build basically anything.[i]Trions[/i], which generate after researching the Trion Generator. You will need this to build unique Trion weapons.and [i]Heskosium[/i], which you can pick up from crashed in meteorites. You will need this to build advanced units.One thing to note is, that your iron extractors need to be connected to the power plant. You can do this by building a chain of pylons.If you reached your power generation capacity you can collect Thorium crystals that are spread over the map with drones which increase generation. To boost research you collect Calcit Crystals.[b]Buildings and Units:[/b]This game was pretty much just released for early access. The FPS part is a gimmick and doesn't really help, and the tanks and other machines are not fun to drive. Also, you will be alone in the battle. The entire UI is kind of bad.
