Pace of play was a little slow but ok overall. Only complaint would be no beverage person on the course or at the turn. Missed opportunity for a lot of revenue with a full course. Spike marks, ball marks not repaired, generally poor greens for the green fees. Pace of play was all over the place. 2somes jumping all over the place, skipping holes,jumping ahead. Quite disturbing actually.Only the fact we had a beautiful day and were in no hurry made the round palatable. Will think twice before returning. The food was terrible. Had a Brat that looked and tasted as though it was 2 days old. The Barmaid was grouchy Difficulty Somewhat Challenging It was so terrific, for all above reasons. We love being able to go off early to play this breathtakingly beautiful course!Highly recommend! Elite! Hawk’s View is in the elite public courses of our area. 5 tee boxes allow you to choose your challenge. We travel an hour to play and it is well worth the time. Course is immaculate from tee to green. Many of the holes are so scenic you forget you’re in the Midwest! Staff is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Your names are on your cart before you arrive. We had the 7:10 tee time and finished Hawk’s View at 10:15.There is a 2nd course, Barn Hollow, that is an 18 hole Par 3 course.
